Joel A. Krock

Joel Arnold Krock, age 65, of McHenry passed away peacefully August 25, 2023. Joel is survived by his loving wife: Sandra; his beloved children: Austin Alan and Kayla Rose; his sister: Janice Herman (Don) of Arizona; his brother-in-laws: James Smak of Ingleside and Ted Smak (Gina) of McHenry; his nephews: Willy and Jacob Smak of McHenry; his future son-in-law: Henry Kranz (Spring Grove); and his grand pups: Bella and Benji.

Joel was preceded in death by his parents: Arnold and Ruthann Krock; and his brother: Alan Krock.

Joel was a simple man with a wicked sense of humor, his life revolved around his family. Joel enjoyed golf, deep sea fishing and grilling. But most of all he loved vacations with his children and his favorite place was Marco Island where he could go backwater fishing with the kids.

Joel worked for many years for Mercedes Benz and Deans Foods. Joel retired in April 2023 from Ryder supporting Chrysler Motors.

Memorial Visitation for Joel will take place on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm at Colonial Funeral Home in McHenry Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Illinois Doberman Rescue, 21201 N 18th St Barrington IL 60010.

Played golf with him for many years; he will greatly missed. I happy that we crossed paths in this life. He will be greatly missed.

I’m gonna miss u big man. Still lost for words this man did so much for me when I was with their family, I could never repay you guys for the love you guys showed me during and even asked her my relationship with Kayla. I’m going to miss those dinners with the Krock family. I know you’re up there, whip it up your favorite meal already, save some for me big man I’m gonna be hungry when I get there.
